Gulfmon is the Mega form of Mephistomon. He looks very similar in appearance, except much larger and more like a centaur. He is also less intelligent in this form.
Role[]
When Mephistomon digivolved into Gulfmon, he beat up Growlmon, Gargomon, and Kyubimon, undamaged by any of their attacks. Eventually they digivolved into WarGrowlmon, Rapidmon, and Taomon, who destroyed Gulfmon with Trinity Burst.
Abilities[]
Aside from attacking with his claws, Gulfmon can shoot an energy wave from a mouth on his abdomen, eerily similar to that of VenomMyotismon from the original series (who both share the same voice actor, Richard Epcar).
